Unless you have built a few ponds before we recommend a pond kit instead of just purchasing the pump, liner, etc. separately. You will get a better price in a package and you can rest easy with the knowledge that all the parts will fit and work together without problems.

Purchasing the parts to construct your pond is kind of like getting a computer. You can go out and buy all the parts separately and build your own. Some computer experts wouldn't consider any other way. But personally we like to buy a computer off the shelf and then add some extras over time. Details

Pondless Waterfalls

Build a waterfall without a pond — Ideal for businesses and homeowners who want the sights and sounds of a waterfall but do not want the liability or maintenance associated with a pond!

The waterfall/stream portion of a most waterfall systems are built the same as a normal water feature, however, the retention basin at the bottom is much easier and faster to build than a normal pond.
